Two months ago; the Cupertino company was intending to add barely 100 million Dollars to its hoard in exchange of Chomp, a small start-up of a search engine of iOS and Android applications.
After the repurchase, the around twenty employee team would join the iTunes teams, Apple seems much interested in the Chomp's search engine in a way to integrate it within the iTunes to make it easy for the users to look for applications in the store or in the application its self. Non more precise information up to now about the progress field of this operation of integration; meanwhile it seems in good path knowing that the days of Chomp in Android have gone since this last one has disappeared from Google Play Store.
The question is: would the iOS Chomp have the same fate as the one of Android? would it disappear from the Appstore within the release of the next version of the iTunes?
